Jean K. Ma (Kankus) of Elmira Heights passed away unexpe tedly at home after a ourageous battle with an er on hursday morning, tober 20, 2016. Jean was prede eased by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert Ma in 2015. Jean is survived by her loving family, sons, Craig Ma and ott Ma and granddaughter, Kendra Ma all of Elmira Heights, NY; brother, Ri hard Kankus; sisters-in-law, Maddy Kankus and Peg Kankus; and several nie es and nephews. She was born in Dunmore, PA, to the late Mi hael and Leona (Pierson) Kankus.

Jean was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a tive in Classy Lassies. She was an a tive book reader and enjoyed needle work. She was also a long time member and ommuni ant St. Epis opal Chur in Horseheads. Family and friends are invited to all at the Barber Funeral Home, In 413 S.
