He was born on July 10, 1952 in Elmira, NY to Richard and Rena (Seymore) Abel. He was predeceased by his father, Richard and father and mother-in-law, Walter and Sylva Adams.

Russell is survived by his wife of 33 years, Carol (Adams) Abel; mother, Rena Abel; daughters, Keri (Dennis) Dimmig and Stephanie Weirick; brother, Richard (Sue) Abel sisters, Ruthanne (Wally) Groves, Rhonda (William) Rehrig, Roberta Abel and Rebecca (Greg) Heck; grandchildren, Patrick, Megan Tori and Paige; along with several nieces and nephews. It was wish that no services be held. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn National Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.

Abel, Russell A. Eleanor R. Brown, age 79 of Knoxville passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the Williamsport General Hospital. Family will receive friends at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main Elkland on Saturday from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 PM.

Doug is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jean Mace; sons, Craig Mace and Scott Mace; one grandchild, Kendra Mace, all of Elmira Heights, NY. He leaves behind four nieces and four nephews; and five great grand nephews and three great grand nieces.

He was predeceased by his father, Robert Mace; mother, Kittie Mace; and sister, Virginia Andrews. Doug proudly served his country during the Korean War. He was a manager and salesman for various transportation companies. He was a long time member of the Horseheads Elks Club as well as a member of St. Episcopal Church in Horseheads.

Doug was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main Horseheads on Friday, April 24, 2015, from 4:00 pm 7:00 pm. Bud worked for Cook Upholstery of Elmira and De Joseph's Upholstery of Corning. He retired as the owner of Bennett's Upholstery. Predeceased by wife, Olive Bennett; daughter-in-law, Helen; brothers, Dutch, George and Al; and sisters, Virginia and Evelyn. Survived by his three sons, Harry (Lola) Bennett of Waneta Lake, Roger (Linda) Bennett of Pine City and David (Linda) Bennett of Elmira; sister, Marie Goodall of Glen Allen, VA and sister- in-law, Martha Bennett of Hurricane, WV. Bud enjoyed playing guitar, banjo, hiking, fishing, traveling and telling stories. He was very proud to be Boy Scout Commissioner. "Bud" Age 75 of Pine City, NY passed away on April 20, 2015 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY. Dennis is the son of the late Cedric and Luana Riker Barnes. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 wonderful years, Bonnie, who was at his side when he passed; sons, Mitchell Barnes and Randy (Annette) Barnes; grandchildren, Corinna, Alexis, Danielle; step-grandchildren, Ashley, and Nicole; great grandchildren, Bradlee, Juliana, and Asher; sisters, Janet Cleveland and Carol (Ronald) Collins. He was predeceased by his brothers, Gary and Lynn Barnes. Dennis served in the Navy Reserve and retired from the Elmira Star Gazette after many years of service.

He was a Life Member of the Golden Glow Fire Department, an avid New York Yankees fan, and a School Crossing Guard in West Elmira. Dennis was an avid golfer and after 53 years of playing golf he had his first hole in one in 2012. He loved being with his family and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. The family will receive friends at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, on Friday April 24, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there Friday at 5:00 PM, Reverend Laurie Greenlaw will officiate.

Barnes, Dennis R. Age 85 of Horseheads. She was born June 30, 1929 in Elizabeth, NJ to Gustav and Margit (Helin) Rosander and passed away April 20, 2015. Inga-Lill was predeceased by her husband, James M. Wilson in 1996.

Her surviving family includes her daughters, Adrienne Wilson of Opelika, AL, Jeannette (Michael) Spillane of Medway, MA, Louise (Ronald) Furstoss of Horseheads; grandchildren, Michael (Megan) Furstoss, Ronald (Erin Root) Furstoss, Anthony Furstoss, Gregory Poole, Matthew (Katherine) Furstoss, James Poole, Alexander Wilson, Ryan Spillane; great grandchildren, Michael Furstoss and Katherine Louise Furstoss. She was a graduate of Ithaca College, an accomplished vocalist and pianist. In her earlier days she was a member of North Presbyterian Church, Elmira Little Theatre and Thursday Morning Musicals. She enjoyed performing as well as encouraging young musicians to reach their potential. As an accomplished musician, she taught piano privately for many years.

Inga-Lill had a passion for the Arts and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved being the piano accompanist for her husband, the late James Wilson and his many students, including her daughters, supporting many young people in performances as they developed their skills and joy for making music. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main Horseheads on Friday April 24, 2015, from 11 pm. Her service will follow there at 1:00 pm Burial in Woodlawn National Cemetery.

WILSON, Inga-Lill Mrs. Marian Louise Boyce, age 89, of Watkins Glen was carried by the angels to Heaven on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Marian was born on December 3, 1925, the daughter of the late Clifford and Marcella (Mathews) Morehouse. She was a 1943 graduate of Watkins Glen High School.

She married her husband Frederick H. Boyce on February 16, 1946 and he predeceased her in 1984 after 38 years of marriage. Marian was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law; Clifford Darlene Morehouse of Watkins Glen. Her work career spanned many decades which included a bank teller, office worker, and law secretary. Most of her life was spent working for Dr.

Larry Ruth Freeman at the American Life Foundation in Irelandville. She retired from Schuyler County Public Health and as the Dix Town Clerk. While in her her work career included internal claims auditor for the Watkins Glen School, and Town of Dix and Schuyler County Historian. Marian and Fred raised their family in the small hamlet Townsend. Her life was filled with volunteering.

She was a Sunday school teacher, 4-H leader, and advocate for the Schuyler County Youth Fair. With her love for learning, she was proud to serve as a Watkins Glen School board member. Marian was a 75-year member of Townsend Grange She was essential in coordinating the members in the operation of a food concession stand at WGI. She looked forward to organizing the annual Grange Halloween party to see the neighborhood children with their costumes. At the state Grange level she served on committees and was a past NYS Grange Jr.

Deputy. Her great knowledge of the Townsend area and Schuyler County led her to many years of volunteering at the Schuyler County Historical Society. We all enjoyed her many stories of how life was in her younger years growing up. Most of all, her happiest times were spent with family. Birthday parties, graduations, weddings, and summer picnics gave her the most joy.

Marian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great- great grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend to many. She will be greatly missed by her family and by all who knew her. Marian is survived by her children; Donald (Jean) Boyce of Camden ME, Marcie (Raymond) Ergott, Patty (Michael) Bilinski, and Clifford (Nancy) Boyce all of Watkins Glen. Brother; Frank Morehouse of Watkins Glen, Nine grandchildren; Stephanie (Stephen) Higgins Ridgeland SC, Pamela (Brian) Altemose of Rochester NH, Donald (Brenda) Boyce Jr. of Lisle, James (Holly) Ergott of Corning, Robert (Lori) Ergott Burrillville RI, Heather (Jeremy Dawson) Bilinski Beaver Dams, Matthew Boyce and Ryan Boyce Fairport, and Molly Bilinski of Cortland.

Sixteen great grandchildren; Sara Seth Higgins, Ellen (Timothy) Spicer, Christian, Benjamin, Hannah, Andrew and Daniel Altemose, Jacob, Derick, and Jessica Ergott, Christopher, Justin, and Nicholas Lorello, Emma Ergott, and Madaline Bryerton. Two great-great grandsons Cullen Thibodeau, and baby Quinn Spicer due to arrive any day. She is survived by special niece and nephews; Kenna (David) Sawdey, Blaine (Kathy) Morehouse, Bob Teed and Glenn (Andra) Boyce Sr. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Doris was the only child of Charlotte (Chamberlain) and her former husband, Walton Hamilton. Doris is survived by her children, Dolleen Pariso and John (Lore) Podleski; grandchildren, Angela, Sarah and Brian; great grandchildren, Caleb and Magnolia; and aunt, Bethaldo "Tootsie" Wright and her family members.

Predeceased by her husband in 2000, and son-in-law, Donald Pariso in 2013. Doris was known for her caregiving, baking and love of dancing especially the Polka. Calling hours will be at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. in Elmira on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Funeral and committal services celebrating Doris' life will be held there at 5:00 PM.

The interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira.
